Remote Service for Exchange —Remote Service for Exchange is designed to provide consultative support for many common tasks such as remote maintenance and software configuration, optimization and "how to" questions. It is generally used for short engagements, typically one to two hours over the telephone and covers only those tasks that can be performed remotely. It does not include any physical hardware or software installation.
Examples of Service provided2 include:
- Transferring a small group of users to a new Exchange server.
- Adding new user groups in Exchange.
- Increasing the mailbox size of Users.
- Adjusting the security settings within Exchange.
- Bringing a remote site online.

Not included with this Service:
- Break-fix resolutions.
- How-to or configuration support for any of the 3rd party products associated to Exchange or otherwise part of the Secure Exchange program.

The Service is performed during normal business hours. It is also a "scheduled service" meaning that issues are assigned and prioritized on a case by case basis
